Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Program Graduate
Graduates from either CMA Accredited Ultrasound Programs or Programs with CMA Accreditation "in waiting status" (completed no later than 18 months following program graduation)
Your completed application must consist of the following:
- A completed Application for CARDUP Examinations and Registration form which includes signature and the date of submission.
- Supporting documentation to prove successful or imminent graduation from a Canadian (CMA) accredited diagnostic ultrasound education program (see the Prerequisites for CARDUP Examinations listed in the application form or in the Candidate Guide).
- Verification that the CARDUP Clinical Skills Assessment (CCSA) has been completed for the exam specialty selected on the application and that the completed and signed Candidate Clinical Skills Summary Form has been submitted by your program representative on your behalf (see the Prerequisites for CARDUP Examinations listed in the application form or in the Candidate Guide - PDF).
- Full payment of the appropriate examination fees (which will be inclusive of any CCSA fees).
Graduates from either CMA Accredited Ultrasound Programs or Programs with CMA Accreditation "in waiting status" offering Cardiac and Vascular Curriculum. (1st Credential)
Your completed application must consist of the following:
- A completed CARDUP Registration Application form which includes signature and the date of submission.
- Documented proof of successful program completion which can include a copy of your graduation diploma, certificate, or a copy of your final Official School Transcript.
- Proof of successful completion of your CCSA (completed no later than 18 months following program graduation). The CCSA completed must be in the specialty for which you are registering. Please ensure that the completed and signed CCSA Candidate Summary Form has been submitted to CARDUP by your program representative on your behalf.
- Proof of successful completion of a CARDUP approved written exam (completed within 18 months of program graduation).
- CRCS Credentials - ARDMS (RDCS) - SPI with adult echocardiography is acceptable (or CCI Cardiac Certification)
- CRVS Credentials - ARDMS (RVT) - SPI with vascular technology is acceptable (or CCI Vascular Certification)
- Full payment of all registration fees within 18 months of successful program completion.
